Cryo Ice Globes

Two stainless globes that roll cool over the face. Unbreakable stainless steel holds cold longer than glass, so this is the thing you reach for on a puffy morning or after a long screen day.

How to use. Chill in the fridge, or briefly in the freezer. A drop of oil or gel first, then roll outward from the centre of the face. Five minutes is plenty.

Material. A pair of unbreakable stainless-steel globes, brushed to a true silver-grey. Steel holds the cold longer than glass and has nothing to shatter in a cold sink or in transit.

Tested. I switched to steel after a glass pair cracked in a cold sink. These have lived in the freezer on and off through a full winter and shrugged it off. Straight from the fridge they roll cool for the whole five-minute pass. From the freezer the cold is sharper, so I let them sit a minute first — comfortable, not biting.
