Mini Steel Ice Roller

A small stainless roller that lives in the fridge and rolls genuine steel cold over cheeks, brow and jaw. It is the simplest object on the shelf and the easiest way into the cold ritual.

How to use. Keep it in the fridge, not the freezer. Roll outward from the centre of the face, a few passes per zone. A drop of oil first if skin is dry.

Material. A brushed stainless-steel roller head on a matte handle. Steel over gel-filled plastic because it takes the fridge cold straight away, wipes clean, and has no fluid pack to leak.

Tested. I keep this on the fridge door and use it the second I wake up on a puffy morning. From the fridge it is cold the moment it touches skin and the de-puffed look holds for a few hours, then settles — instant and temporary, the way cold always is. I tried the freezer once. The fridge is the right home for it.
