The anchor for those who want weight behind the work. A 316L mirror-polish bar at about 260g, heavier than the standard gua sha, so the steel carries the cool sculpting glide and you barely press.

how to use
  1. Chill it on the fridge shelf for the cool version.
  2. Press a few drops of slip oil into clean skin so the steel glides.
  3. Hold it flat and sweep outward and up along the jaw, cheek and neck.
  4. Let the weight do the work, three or four slow passes per zone.
  5. Wipe dry and keep it on the fridge shelf.
material & care

One solid piece of 316L surgical-grade stainless at about 260g, mirror-polished so it reads silver-grey, never gold. The 316L holds cold from the fridge for several minutes and resists the marks a softer steel picks up. We chose heavy solid steel over jade or resin because there is nothing glued or hollow to crack, and the mass means you barely press. Wipe dry after use and keep it on the fridge shelf.

questions

How is the Sculpt Bar different from the standard gua sha?

It is heavier, about 260g against the standard bar's 200g, and it is mirror-polished 316L rather than satin-brushed steel. The added mass means the tool carries the pass, so you press less and feel the cool sculpting glide with fewer strokes.

How do I use it?

Chill it in the fridge, then press a few drops of oil into clean skin so the steel glides. Hold the bar flat and sweep slowly outward and up from the centre of the face along the jaw, cheek and neck. Three or four passes per area is plenty. Let the weight work.

Is the steel real 316L?

Yes. It is one solid piece of 316L surgical-grade stainless at about 260g, mirror-polished to a true silver-grey. It holds cold from the fridge for several minutes, and 316L keeps its mirror finish reading bright over time.
